Does anyone here use the wood glue cleaning method on their vinyl? If so, how well does it work?

Have a look here.

A mate of mine used PVA glue successfully for quite a time. Then the brand of glue he used must have changed its formulation. The set glue didn't peel off very well at all, and the record was ruined.

Quite a few demo videos on "tube".

I would think any PVA glue would work but I'm not 100% sure what reaction it would have with the vinyl record - it may pull out more than the dirt...

I have a second hand copy of Neil Young's Harvest that I'm tempted to try it on, but I would love to hear from anyone with first hand experience.
