Nice to hear your SL-7 is still going strong Jon.
I was only thinking about it last week when on another forum someone had just dug one out of his attic and was going to get it serviced.

Thanks Jon. I think they are solid turntables with direct drive and linear tracking albeit with a specific cartridge. I own several Technics including a SL1210 and believe they are good value. The SL-7 is my favourite.

This is a post resurrected from the dead! It reminds me I must hook up my SL-QL1 sometime. I wish I hadn't sold my SL-7. Such good turntables - underrated by those who don't know them!
