I have measured the TT-PSU lead that was supplied with my original RP6 (2012) and it is 2m. £20 seems a fair price.
(The connectors are Kycon-DIN - I purchased 3 of these from ebay for John Cadman to make the double turntable TT-PSU switch box) |

Thanks Andrew
It just seems funny to sell a 2m lead if it already comes with a 2m lead. Also I have read on another forum that it came with a short lead. May be if you buy the psu as an upgrade it only comes with a short lead. Cheers Dave |

The 2 metre lead could possible be an extension to give you a 4 metre cable. It states it is power din to power din. Cheers Dave

I bought my TTPSU as an upgrade and it was supplied with a 350ma wallwart and a 2metre male din to male din plug to connect from the TTPSU to the turntable. When using the TTPSU the 24v circular power socket on the turntable is NOT used and should not be connected. The power should go from the wall to the TTPSU from the heavier wallwart supplied with it and then from the TTPSU to the turntable via the din cable. It would appear the listed cable is the standard one, I know of none shorter and cannot imagine why Rega would bother to make more than one length. Not sure I understand what the issue is here. |
