I've a thing against white vinyl, I find it really off-putting, and hard to see where the tracks start. Doesn't make any difference to the sound of course, but I'd rather have almost any other colour (perhaps not brown...LOL ).
I like Suzanne Vega. What's this album like?

Reflex M, Solo (both with PSU-1) CuSat50, Lautus, Spatia & Spatia links cables. Ortofon Bronze.

How can I answer that? I think it's a great follow up to Tales From The Realm Of The Queen Of Pentacles, to be honest. The songs on this one have the theme of 'struggle' in various guises. Despite age creeping up, her voice sounds very much the same, and her vocal phrasing is just what you'd expect.
The good news is that whole album is on YT (at the moment) if you'd like to try before you buy, Jon:
Despite my dislike of the white vinyl, my pressing is absolutely silent, not a click to be heard. According to Discogs there are grey and red smoke editions too, though I haven't seen one offered. I hope this is vaguely useful...

My vinyl buying has had to take a bit of a hit for the time being but I do still buy it by bands or artists I know I like.
This album came out this week and a knew I had to have it on vinyl as I like the band so much.
Suede. Antidepressants.
First listen today and I'm not sure on it. I think it's one of those albums that will take one more or two listens to make my mind up on whether it's a great album that will be played often or one that I just like and will play every so often.

Got a HMV voucher for £20 so spent it on The Cult "Love" album. One of those bands I've liked their music but until now never bought any of their albums. I think this is going to get a lot of plays. Got a few more records on the way, but will have to wait until Christmas as their presents.

The band's best album IMHO.

On another forum a few members have said the same thing. If I'm to buy any more albums by this band I'm going to have to listen before buying by the sounds of it.
