just a quick message my new ahd7000 & srgii +psu finally arrived a couple of days ago!im using them with my sisterin laws musical fidelity xray cd player.out of the box im not as impressed as with the demo kit, they sound good but not amazing. from what ive seen there going to need a long burn in period. i used an old set of hd600 & they sounded very good, better than i remember?must be the solo doing its magic! anyway cheers for now.

If you are talking about the Denon AH-D7000 they need a good amount of burn-in to settle down and sound their best. Do a search for the MarkL modification which bring out the best sound out of the Denon.

yes i know the headphones & amp need a fair burn in period,im going to wait for that then as ive said before im going to buy the cusat50 interconnect  & then get myself agood cd player ie  musical fidelity xray  or something of that nature.when i demoed the kit  they used a naim cd player of about £3500, i
didnt like it i prefered the cyrus cd8se2?  i want to build my basic system before any more modifications. by the way thanks mrarroyo for the link i will keep it for future reference.im going to need a large injection of cash, the wifes happy but i cant push my luck!
