If you are talking about the Denon AH-D7000 they need a good amount of burn-in to settle down and sound their best. Do a search for the MarkL modification which bring out the best sound out of the Denon.

yes i know the headphones & amp need a fair burn in period,im going to wait for that then as ive said before im going to buy the cusat50 interconnect & then get myself agood cd player ie musical fidelity xray or something of that nature.when i demoed the kit they used a naim cd player of about £3500, i didnt like it i prefered the cyrus cd8se2? i want to build my basic system before any more modifications. by the way thanks mrarroyo for the link i will keep it for future reference.im going to need a large injection of cash, the wifes happy but i cant push my luck! cheers mike
