Yes, the following Solo Ultra Linear 0150-434 with PSU1 0150-387 is stolen property. It is also fair for all would be purchasers of SH gear to note that any product having had its serial number removed should also be considered stolen property and report the matter to the police (for what use they are...)

Giving the customer the benefit of the doubt, if it was intercepted, then he has nothing to fear.

Ah - cheques. I should have "checked" the site before asking. Clown

The only time I ever use cheques are for school dinners/trips etc. Aren't there plans to phase them out?

IMO only offering cheques for payment will put some people off ordering, and cheque fraud isn't unknown. I guess you're between a rock and a hard place here . . .

So, if registered and signed upon delivery mail isn't good enough then basically all online shopping is total anarchy? It puzzles me why PayPal would aid obvious thieves in their stealing, what's in it for them? It just foils their own business

If the item was despatched within 7 days of receiving payment, and you have online proof of tracking and delivery, then you are covered by Paypal's Seller Protection policy. However for transactions with a value of £150 or more, you need to provide proof of signature from the recipient. If you have that, I would ring Paypal and appeal. If the signature is not that of the recipient, then you might have a legitimate claim against the courier.

The Police online enquiry service say in an email response that it's reportable to our local Police station who should investigate, so we'll try that first.
