Hi Everyone,

I am upgrading my Phonostage to the Graham Slee Reflex M and am now looking at my amp.

I still want to keep the streaming features and have been considering the Nad C700 as i can get a Gen 1 version for around £650. Has anyone got any experience with how this sounds as ive read a lot of reviews on the sound and how it is as a streamer but nothing on it as how it sounds as an amplifier and when something external is plogged in.

I'm also open to any suggestions form anyone.

Thanks
Gareth

Personally I am not a fan of amps and expensive devices with large LCD screens. They are asking for trouble and don't expect cheap repairs if something goes wrong. Some devices may not even be repairable at all.

My advice would be to keep the amp and streaming device separate. If the streaming device breaks down you still have an amp. I would consider any streaming device to be borderline disposable at best and wouldn't spend more money than you are willing to lose if and when it breaks down.

thanks for the reply, I’ve ended up going for a musical fidelity m2si. Hope it’s as good as the reviews say 🤞
