As anyone heard of a record label called "Unicorn" The reason for asking is, I've just had an email from amazon advertising an album by Pink Floyd, it's a live recording of a concert in 1972, it sounds good but I can't find any info on the label.

It's priced at £15 for the CD which seems a lot, I just read a review of it and it looks like it has been around for years but on vinyl, the reviewer said it was being sold in the 70s which is making alarm bells ring.

Hmm. It's one of those Eggs Benedict situations, where Woody Allen persuades his friend to get an ECG etc. I wouldn't buy it FWIW.

I'm going off the idea of buying it just because of the price, if under £5 it may of been worth taking the risk, There are some old albums at that price on CD I have bought just because on vinyl it's been too expencive to take a risk.

Hi Jon - There are / have been a few labels of that name, but I can't find a Pink Floyd release under the name. I couldn't locate it on Amazon either, though that's not saying much, I'm not at all familiar with PF's catalogue.

There were more that just that album by PF on this label. My mate had the same email but he asked someone else about it and they said don't even think about buying from this label, so I'll be giving it a miss. It was worth giving my mate a call on this subject.
