I am listening to a high res Radio Paradise feed (128K AAC) that sound pretty good, mostly alt rock but has some electronica and world music  but nearly all of high quality plus NO ADVERTS and very little in the way of dj noise.

They have have a 96K ogg and a 192K ogg feed but my Sonos doesn't seem to like ogg.

In the last hour have listened to Bob Marley, Led Zepplin, Tinariwen, Joni Mitchell an Tame Impala?

Checkout the current playlist for the variety of artists.

Isn't quite catholic enough to be my only source but it is pretty good, since we got the sonos at the weekend our background tv listening has dropped to zero which must be a good thing.

The only thing is that I have only heard of 50-60% of the stuff and I therefore sense a shopping spree coming on.

Need to try and get the 192k OGG working through the main system (with the solo) as Strictly Come Dancing is back on the TV.

If anyone wants to hear how the newly mixed Genesis box set sounds like there are high res 24/96 flac files to be found at the torrent site thepiratebay.org if searching for "genesis vinyl 2008".
I'm not trying to endorse any criminal actions just think you should be able to hear what you're buying beforehand especially when buying over the internet. Smile

Cheers!

SEIJI OZAWA ' s New Year's Concert 2002 with the WPO, even you seldom listen to classical music I ensure you are definitely going to find this video very very entertaining indeed !! Wink

The Strauss family's work are actually easy listening with great melody (the Blue Danube is one) and energetic enough so that IMO no one will find classical music sleepy Sleepy anymore !  More than that, there is a lot of fun playing with players of the orchestra and interaction and participation with audiences in the concert hall ! Tongue

The New Year Concert is a tradition held annually in Vienna with different conductors each year partnering with the WPO playing Strauss's and waltzes by other composers Star in celebration of the new year. This DVD IMO actually stands out among all New Year Concerts in the past decade or so, with works chosen showing great technique of the WPO, and the energetic performance, artistry and humorous play of the Japanese conductor really adds a lot of credit to it ! Clap
