You'll definitely get to enjoy using these Daniele! They make a great pairing with the ULDE. Thumbs Up

If your phones are new perhaps you will find that they need less volume when they have loosened up after some period of use.

My K701 needed a lot more volume when new than they do now.

My LCD2 have perhaps 12 months of use now and I just tested them using a SPL meter between the cups while playing a few tracks.

With the volume @ 12 o'clock I was reading peaks of 95dB C weighted and average around 90dB.

With the volume @ 2 o'clock the average was over 100dB - too loud for me for normal use.

It is not a problem for the Solo to be turned up that far, it is, if I have understood correctly, designed that way.

I very rarely play my LCD2s over 5-past-the-hour. Plenty of volume, but as Tony says the ULDE volume control is designed to be turned up, if required, with no adverse affect on the sound. It's a truly great combination . . . Big smile

The Solo ULDE is designed to go flat out and is unique in that respect. 1400 (or 2 o'clock) is just teasing it.
That none should be able to park up and enjoy the view without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps
