Hi Derek,
I originally was waiting for the closed back , but since I got my TH900 I thought I would diversify.
Frankly, my environment (light sleeping wife Wink) is more suited to the CB , but I have yet to see a review.

Always a problem with a new product. If you manage to find one please share. It would be interesting to read a comparison and to find out how Audeze cope without the benefits of being open backed

You're in for a wonderful listening experience...once they've both had plenty of burning/running in time, although they'll both sound great straight out of the box...Enjoy Clap

Thanks ,

I actually did read that one awhile back.Surprisingly there aren't that many reviews out there regarding the X or XC.I'm kind of waiting to see if there are any issues with either , as there seem to always be with first run Audeze models.
