Vinyl is a can of worms, and is not a simple plug and play proposition.

To answer your question about the Gram Amp 2SE, it's a very good phono preamp, and I've had mine for a donkey's age.
I'm only just thinking about going upmarket, as my vinyl playing setup has been upgraded somewhat.

But I ask my dad if he's interested.
My next target is the novo or the solo .

My voyager just reach the 48h mark.
Playing marriage of figaro I can hear clearly the separations is really good,the soundstage has open up and not at your face but very little or no bass now.

It has reach 100 ++ not really counting the hours now
Just going with the stride now
it shock some of my older mates who were musicians
We plug it through old yamaha speakers and they said it sounded warm and valve amp like
 they are in their 50s
