Hi All,
After a small chat with Graham, I have decided to plug my voyager through my Mac book pro headphone line in and run my whole itunes library. Now the sad thing is I am sort of addicted to the voyager and with only 1 iem which is used for the burn in I can see my patience will be tested. I keep telling myself, it will be ok eric, just have another chewing gum oh sod it I have a cigarette instead! |

You could always just listen to it during burn in, perhaps leaving it on the Mac overnight. Remember that from the start it's good,
it'll just get better as time goes by...

If I'm not mistaken, I feel that Graham's electronic circuits in his amplifiers are designed to store energy within them and this is what gives them their responsive sound character. My Bitzie retains charge for a very long time after the power supply is disconnected and I'm certain that the responsiveness of it increases (up to an optimum) the longer the system is kept in the energised state (plugged in). I predict that this stored energy keeps the available voltage swing high allowing headphone/speaker diaphragms to move more effectivity and with less latency (more synchronised with the signal). These are just my thoughts though. His electronics are designed to be OATT (on all the time).

Why would you need to rest the amp? I don't think it's likely to feel tired ![]() |
