Spanish wine, nice enough, but try out an Alentejo red, (Alentejo being a Portuguese region, down south before the Algarve) and THEN try to adjust VTA...Smile

So you're familiar to the place! I'll try to get away- I live and work in Lisbon, and will have a break by mid-August.

It's different, I guess... still, I admit an almost lifelong interest in UK culture!Clap

I love Lisbon, especially those little bars that sell sticky cakes and ice cold beer in what in the UK would be considered the middle of the night.  Bars that sell cakes and beer after midnight, when you really need a cake and a beer: now that's what I call culture!  Love the trams too.

I also have a soft spot for Laughing Len's first album and although it has been played to death in it's 30 odd years my original vinyl copy still plays fine.   I have had mixed results with new pressings, recently I got the 180g version of Brothers in Arms and it's stunning.  On the other hand my new 180g copy of Tom Waits' Franks Wild years sounds as if it has been made from a mixture of grit and vinyl.  I am no expert but I think just vinyl would have been better.

Now don't even get me started about red wine..............

I'd like to agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
