Hi. I'm a new member today.
Looking to upgrade my phono project tube box s to reflex m with psu1 and latus interconnects on uk loaner scheme.
Current system is Linn sondek Majik lp12 linn adikt cart and Linn kiko DSM.
Sound is great Already but I just think the reflex m would be an improvement.
Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum Ian!

The Reflex M will provide you with a notable step up in sound quality - as you'll find if (when?) you borrow one. The Lautus interconnects are only in lengths of 1.5m and over BTW. I use 0.6m CuSat50s with great effect. Obviously it depends on how you house your kit . . .

Keep us updated if you borrow a Reflex . . .

Hi Ian, you have some very nice equipment there

When I made the change to Reflex-M, PSU1 and Lautus cabling, I can report that this was one of the most significant upgrades my system has had. I already owned the older Reflex Era Gold V but nevertheless the increase in musicality and 'rightness' was pretty immediate. It continued to improve over the ensuing 3-4 weeks as everything burned in and it now sounds really beautiful. Those records that previously seemed a bit thin and uninvolving have somehow become compelling and enjoyable. The best ones sound stunning, a musician friend visited last weekend and claimed he had never heard anything so realistic outside of a live performance Approve

Using the loan scheme to audition Lautus, I have ended up replacing all my cabling with this and Spatia (including speaker 'internal' rewire) and this has has a similarly dramatic effect on the whole system. The digital Lautus are fantastic by the way, 'trashing' the sound of some much more expensive Nordosts

I guess the true indication of how much pleasure this is giving me is the number of hours I am spending rediscovering a vinyl collection going back more than 40 years. Too much time really but it's so addictive that I may need marriage counseling !

You have a great journey ahead of you......
Older than I once was, younger than I'll be

Welcome to our friendly and helpful community Ian. The Reflex M will bring you a lot of listening pleasure and the GSP interconnects are second to none.

Hi Ian,
Welcome to the Forum.
The UK loaner scheme is run by Jon (Fatmangolf). You need to send him a PM to let him know what it is you're interested in. To send a PM either click on the members name at the top left of their posts or go to the Member control panel (Link at top of page), open the Private Message section, open send message tab, key in the members name, etc..
Happy Listening.
