A sad day. The last of the real Royals.

We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.

I agree that citizens of the United Kingdom should be able to show their respect on the passing of Elizabeth II, but I don't think she would have liked to see us go weak at the knees, cancelling everything.

I note that HiFi Show Live has been cancelled and know at least two people who are taking flights into the UK for absolutely no reason now! Either that or they don't turn up for their flight - either way it's wasted money!

OK, if Ascot have shut down there is nothing the organiser can do about it, but that isn't clear.

Whatever happened to the stiff upper lip of the era at the beginning of Elizabeth II's reign?

Soft!

I'm not a royalist. If people want to mourn the passing away of the Queen then let them do so but don't push it on all of us. I respect the dead and those who have lost loved one. but this has nothing to do with me so just let me get on with my life.

Probably the best thing to do is not tune in to the BBC.
Can we not be respectful without the inevitable saturation coverage of the BBC?
