Looks promising....let me try some on old beaten up vinyls. I like the idea of preservation.
Thanks for the suggestion Shashi

I have one of those too and it cleans well. Only slight problem I have is that its a little tall for my setup. To use the arm lift I had to raise the lift a lot, but I don't like it that way, so nowI just do it manually.

Thanks Bruce
![]() Dave I agree. In my case I wish the Flux had a stable bottom...one has to hold it. When switched on the vibrations tend to make the thing move around a bit. So far I have tried a few stylus cleaning methods: 1. The gel/goop - Zerodust. It seems to work fine with finer needles....but fails miserably with the Zero. I should give it a wash perhaps with mild soap. This option is good only for cleaning the stylus. 2. The Last stylus cleaner - this is a good method. I also use the brush in the bottle (looks like nail polish brush) to clean the stylus - very effective. The supplied cleaning brush is good when used with the liquid and moved from back to front motion only. Again....good for stylus only. With the finer brush I can clean the other areas of the cartridge. 3. The Flux - this has proved to be the most effective - no mess left either on the stylus, cantilever or cartridge. However there are certain physical aspects that bother - the placement of this machine (align with cartridge), the vibration (not sure if it would shake the stylus) and stability (need to hold it). Of course there is still the traditional common sense path of using a fine brush gently ![]() The life of an audiophile is ridden with many decisions and inane complexities ![]() Cheers Shashi
