Wondering if anyone knows this band? I took a chance on it based on the record label association. Really good album IMHO.

Good evening,

I did not know them, but they somehow remind me of a mixture between Gary Newman and Lars Falk.
Just to stay in Norway, I have always appreciated that band:

Viva! were actually on the same label as Fra Lippo Lippi. I like them too and have LPs of their first 3 albums and a CD of the first 2.

I recently got a mint looking copy of Small Mercies. Sounds great except for some minor non-fill defects you can't see with the naked eye. Oddly enough the other Uniton LPs I have don't have this problem. Bad luck is all.

I was never that keen on Gary Numan honestly. I like Replicas and that's about it. His voice grates for me after awhile. I need to get a good copy of Replicas at some point on LP or CD.

Yes, I agree that Gary Numan has not fully been my cup of tea either, on the other hand  Are friends elektric? was definitely a gamechanger.
In spite of not being an expert on the fields of Scandinavian New Wave, I do not want to miss the opportinity to draw your attention to this Danish pearl of minimal electronic I discovered a couple of years ago.
Enjoy:

I'll have to check that out sometime. Looks like the record is pretty HTF/expensive at this point.
