Hi all, thought I'd better get my 1st post in to jump on the CLAD bandwagon. Currently looking at phono stages to go with an Inspire Apollo/RB 700 and Denon 304.
 
Current stage is a lovely little battery powered Angle Audio mc only but I think I can do better especially as the 304 is particularly low output - suggestions welcome.
 
Rest of system is Audiolab 8200cdq and Fostex PM2 actives.

Hi Kev,

welcome to the forum, I am a fan of the Denon cartridges, as are a number of other members.

I do not own a DL-304, but a couple of members do, one uses a Reflex C and another uses a Reflex/Exp combination IIRC.

Hopefully they will chip in with their experiences.

Alternatively, you could contact Jon (Fatmangolf), by PM regarding the loan program and perhaps trial a unit for yourself.

Have a browse around the forum, there may be articles of interest to you, or you may have some of your own to add.

Hi Tony, many thanks for your suggestions - I'll have a look at them and have a think about the loan programme.
 
I had a EAR 834P a while back with a Goldring mm cart and thought that for the money it was dreadful! Possibly a mismatch so I want to be careful this time around - therefore the loan option sounds good.
