I need advice.  My Raspberry Pis, TV, AVR, YouView etc are all connected to my home network via Devolo Homeplugs.  This has worked reasonably well with just the occassional dropout of music and frustrating slow iPlayer etc through the YouView box.

I now have a problem.  With the kitchen work that we've had done the electricians have "tidied" things up a bit.  This has resulted (I think; will check in bit when the kitchen fitter goes home) in the iMac (where the music files are), the modem and the Airport Extreme being on a different trip circuit than the Pi, TV etc resulting in poor to non-existent communication between the Devolos in different rooms.

Any suggestions as to how I could "fix" the problem.  I could possibly, with a lot of work, get one ethernet cable from the Airport Extreme to the sitting room.  If I did this could I plug it into some sort of hub that everything else could plug into?

As you will realise, I have no idea about networking, and I'm not sure who to call in to sort it.  What does one google for?

PM me with your phone number, and I'll give you a bell.
It will be a lot easier to talk through your network issues.
