( but perhaps not cheap...but value for money Wink )

Just moved house (temp rented) last week and have been HiFi less for a week. To further compound the misery the area I have available is not big enough for a pair of freestanding speakers that need to be away from the wall.

Have been looking at some cheap Stand mount speakers to use for a few months, but as usual it will probably take weeks for me to find the ones I want.

I was unpacking more boxes yesterday and came across my Solo UL, an all too obvious plan was formed.

I could create myself a 2 source headphone system that could keep me going until I sorted the speaker situation.

Out came the Accession ( still burning in ) , the Streamer, 2 sets of Lautus, 1 Gyrodec and a Solo and a system was born.

After re balancing the tone arm, letting Powergens' finest percolate through the system to warm it up on went Portishead Live at NYC and end of misery.  Thumbs Up

(update spelling)

Glad to hear that a semblance of normality has been restored.

Just listen, if it sounds good to you, enjoy it.
