Yup, grilles included, it seems. Have to say I can't see a catch assuming it's all as described. Geek

They do indeed seem a good offer, particularly compared to other kits which need a great deal more assembly and finishing.
I would have thought that the glued back panel would give a stiffer structure than the screwed back panel, but the difference would be small and if access for component tweaking was required then the screwed version would make access easier with less likelihood of damaging the drive units. You pays your money and takes your choice...

I understand all of your reservations. I too am wary of such a large price reduction however it's amazing how the price of things can decrease/increase sharply when user convenience is considered. People with skills often benefit financially in such situations. This offer seems to be genuine and contain all parts. It's so easy to be paranoid that you're being gullible to believe it but sometimes we can be pleasantly surprised. Smile

I think I shall make this purchase very soon. I'm not scared of the assembly. I'll probably just inspect and "play" with the parts for a couple of hours before I start trying to screw anything into anything. I'm not the brightest guy in the world but I am logical in the way I work so I should be fine. I'll make sure I put up any pictures with regard to wiring the unit as I won't have a clue and I will want Graham's verification before I dare to connect them to the Proprius monoblocks!

We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.

I will wait with great anticipation because I am so tempted to pull the trigger. I don't really have reservations per se Ash, it's just that it's a massive saving and I do like to look a gift horse in the mouth on occasionsLOL

Hey Greg, if Ash is successful with this project and I'm successful with Genera project you'll just have to do them both.

Ifor,
In the words of the great Baldrick, 'shall I prepare the spare room for Mr. Cock-up?', I think the Genera project is a bit further down the line than the speaker kit.....I've got some time coming up in the next few weeks (school holidays, etc) so I may just bite the bulletBig smile
