Hi Guys!

My first post. Erm....(stage fright)...Hi :)

Ok, let's see...I'm a proud owner of a Voyager amp.
Only had this for a few days but I must say I'm amazed at the SQ.

I'm still burning the Voyager in and I don't get much chance to listen mid-week
but I've put about 40 hours on it.

First impressions: bigger soundstage, really punchy bass, more definition in the bass,
much better separation and definition. LOTS of power. A night and day difference compared
to the Headsix. Feels like I'm listening through a much bigger home amp. Sounds tubey?

I'm listening to Cowboy Junkies / I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry....Apparently recorded with
a single microphone at the Church of the Holy Trinity (Toronto). Margo Timmin's voice fills the soundstage and sounds warm...I can hear her breathe. In the distance I can hear the tsh tsh tsh tsh tsh of the cymbals and to my left I can hear the laid back melodic chords of Michael Timmons with the occasional solo drifting into centre space. So much to listen to!

A good deal of WARMTH. I love the warmth of this amp :)

Generally: Way better than I could have hoped for. With other amps I've been amazed
but been tempted very soon after to upgrade. Not so here.....:) I want spend alot of time with the Voyager.

Thanks to Graham and John.

PS. GRAHAM!!!!!!!

You asked to be reminded of this:
You were going to do a definitive write up on amplifier burn-in.
When you can, please :P

Cheers
Mike

That Cowboy Junkies track is fantastic.  Thanks for reminding me - I'm going to play it now!
