Thanks
I have had a vintage technics CD player as a source for twenty odd years. Finally upgraded to a cd8 se2 and psx. Next up is the Solo upgrade board and a cusat50. Finished with a bespoke Simon Little stand (just my luck two appeared in oak on eBay the minute I paid for a commissioned one as I thought I'd give up waiting for used). Mulling on a streamer next. Maybe a DAC in the future but for now I'm skint! |

![]() I just shelled out another £2400 today on two TV's, Soundbar, TV stand and interconnects. Got to stop now!

Yep.
The Cyrus was a used one at a price that makes much more sense. And the Solo is an upgrade. Which helpfully means I can write the CuSat50 off as the price I saved not buying a new Solo... Hoping the cables add a bit as I am on a cheap interconnect still. (The 4K tellies did look rather nice in Fanthorpes today...). |

It's all here now, picked up the rest of the gear Monday, enjoyed shooting the breeze with John for a couple of hours, what a nice chap, cuppa coffee later and i was on my way. I spent the afternoon/evening setting up, and i enjoyed a well earned relaxing late night session listening to 'The sound of the BBC'. Absolutely bloomin marvellous.
With hand on hard it's fair to say GSP and Harbeth make an awesome combination that's hard to beat at any price. That's another bucket list goal completed, onwards and upwards to the next challenge.
