I use several audio gear from Europe here in the US. I don't use a transformer to step up the voltage. I use two faces 2x120V and get my 240V. The easiest is to tap it of from the fuse box which supplies 240V to the air-conditioner. I have used it for at least 12 years to power my amplifier, CD player and some European TV's. NO issues what so ever.

The two 120V circuits are in anti-phase of course :)

Standard technique for washing machine, tumble driers, other large-current-draw appliances in the Americas.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

What is the load (i.e. watt) that Solo UL Diamond will need to consume?

I am getting the voltage transformer, but need to accommodate for my 230V M1DAC (which stated in its manual to be: 10 Watts maximum) and Solo UL Diamond with 230V PSU1.

I could not find "Tacima" brand in US, this one looks better than the one in my earlier post:

Is it ok to use power strip / multi plug / surge protector with the transformer? I need at least 2 230V plugs (and usually transformer only has 1)
