Does plugging the Christmas tree lights into the same socketry as the hi-fi/turntable affect sound quality? Wink

Did you know that the word Xmas was invented to help people not to take the Lord's name in vain?

Q. Why do atheists celebrate Xmas?

That none should be able to park up and enjoy the view without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

Because most people see it as a time off work and celebrating the arrival of new socks and having to spend time with relatives, based on a Victoran resurrection of the festival of Christmas, it has become a tradition not a religious festival

Very few people still see it as the dubiously* timed celebration of the birth of Christ the 'son of god' or god (hence the non blasphemy xmas) depending on where you fall on the trinity** question.

* Many believe that the timing is based on convenient pagan winter festivals.

** I think and I maybe wrong that some of the more puritan protostant branches have tried to stop christmas believing it to be to much of a papal thing.

Yes, I read it, nice! Sorry if I appear a little ignorant not replying, it's just that I'm burning the midnight oil fitting out our replacement workshop and there seems to be far more work involved than I estimated - either that or age has caught up with me, darn it!
