I'm new here and thinking very hard about acquiring a pair of the Proprius monoblocks to drive a pair of Electric Beach Frugal 3 speakers (based on the Frugal Horn template) - full range speakers using the Alpair 7 driver. Our listening room is about 18ft x 16ft and we listen to just about anything other than rap. We're a musical family (drums, guitar, piano, sax) and really appreciate musicality and a sense of reality. I was wondering if anyone has experience of this type of speaker and whether the Proprius might make a good match with a full-range speaker of this sort. The thought of mounting the amps on or very near to the speakers is also appealing.
Many thanks in advance, Shaun

I believe Chris Firth has something similar but I'm not sure if he's using the Proprius.
If you PM "Fatmangolf" (Jon) and ask to borrow a pair I'm sure he'll be able to let you audition them for a couple of weeks. Graham |

That none should be able to park up and enjoy the view without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

I'm not using Proprius here - but I have heard the FH3 with the Mark Audio metal spun metal cones.
They're very, very good, and do not require any help in the HF department. |

Thank-you! I'll give Fatmangolf a call and see if I can borrow a set of Proprii Sounds exciting and I'll let you know how I get on.
