New Era Gold Reflex

This is my first post here so hello to everyone.  I've had my Era Gold Reflex in my system now for about 5 weeks and I'm simply loving it. Before I go into how it sounds there is a bit of a story so let me start at the beginning. 
A mate here [I live 'down under' with all the other convicts!] loaned me his Denon DL110 cart as I had a little accident with the stylus in my Shure V15VxMR and to be honest I wasn't expecting the Denon to sound as good as it did. It actually outperforms the Shure in every respect...........and I liked the Shure and have been a devotee to Shure MM carts since the early 70's. The DL 110 is a HOMC and because it performed so well I bought one..........no big deal either because it's about 1/6th the price of the Shure.
Up to this point I'd been using an ME phono preamp  [ME is a local amp manufacturer]  and it performed really well for a moderately priced phono stage but I still had nothing really to compare it to.  The same mate that loaned me the Denon cart also offered to loan me his Era Gold V which I did not hesitate to take him up on............not sure I should thank him or not!
Anyhow, I trialled the EGV for about two weeks in my system and the proof of how good it sounded was always going to be when I reintroduced the ME.  I got around to plugging the ME back in and I think I played a total of 3 or maybe 4 tracks on a couple of different LPs and that was enough.  It sounded like someone was pinching off the music and not allowing it all to come through.  Also the sound stage shrunk and it was overall a disappointment compared to EGV. 
I eventually ordered and took delivery of my new Era Gold Reflex and of course I was then able to return the EGV to my mate.  The difference in the Reflex over the EGV, although not as much as the EGV over the ME, was from the first playing a substantial improvement.  That improvement continued to get better each day for probably up to about a week and then settled  down to where it is today. 
The difference the Reflex has made is astonishing and I'm now enjoying a sound stage to die for, tight deep bass and clear definition of instruments and vocals.  To say I'm pleased with the purchase would be an understatement and congratulations Graham on producing such a fine piece of hi fi kit.
