Welcome PaaJ!
After quoting that I'd have to sell you one if you insisted. There is progress on the official launch of the Green Solo, it will come out around August/September. At this time I cannot say much more about it - all I can really say is that the "pilot" through those who took part, we learned one or two things. The official version thus will have to cost a bit more than the "pilot" but not much more than the existing Solo Intro. Sorry to be so vague. |

If you put it like that... I'd like one, but I really don't want to be a burden and it was a quote from januari...
Anyway, I can wait till september.

Hi i am also a new member and have found my way here as a result of researching headphone amps on the internet.
It seem that the green solo is highly regarded and i was also wondering if there were any more pilot models available.

My lovely new Solo has a leaflet enclosed speaking of RoHS compliance and 'extensive tuning' to match the sonic qualities of the original Solo MC. Have i lucked out and got an early 'Green' Solo?

Hi, the Solo 2007 is RoHS and has the PSU1 as a linear regulated powersupply.
The Green Solo has a switched mode wallwart power supply (SMPS)
I myself have a so called Solo 2004 with PSU1, the model before the RoHS 2007.
Just to explain the differences in big lines!! Han

Aha! Cheers. Yeah, mine's got a PSU 1. Are there any sonic differences between the Solo 07 and the Green? Or is the idea that there shouldn't be any?
