Portable amp Voyager has been much appreciated in China by numerous Chinese head-fiers. The common feedback is that it has the refined and neutral sound that is very rare among portable head-amps.  Users use it to drive earphones such as Shure SE530, Etymotic ER4, or full-size phones like Sennheiser HD650, and are very happy with the results.

We have heard headphone amps having bigger power, more dynamics, brighter highs, but very few, if any, headphone amps in this price range can compare to Voyager in neutrality and refinement of sound.

Mr Graham Slee you have got many fans in China!

I can confirm that. In addition, it's not only applicable to the Voyager that GS amps are highly regarded here in China as the only non-Chinese amps on display at Beijing's Anrun office are Graham Slees: The little Voyager sits on top of the Solo. Most of the customers directly plug their test headphones into the Solo and enjoy the sound.

I really wish that there would be a similar store like Anrun back in Germany... So many phones to try out in combination with a Solo. Star

Or anywhere for that matter, Saso. I'm very pleased with the Beyer phones I bought for monitoring and recreational listening, but it was complete luck, guesswork and shop staff attempts to describe the characteristics of each headphone, as they were all in sealed packs...
