I originally just used black on both cables but was asked if I could make the left & right lengths more obvious for those of us who have a mass of cables at the back of our amps. This seemed the obvious way to go for terminated cables. I would have liked to just colour code with the heatshrink used at each end of the cables but can only get the internally glued type (which prevents it from sliding off the braid) in black.
If I was supplying unterminated cables they would be colour coded red & black at each end on all sets. Hope this clears that one up. ![]() John C

That's fine John, thanks for the explanation.
Logically the red insulation for the right speaker and vice versa for the black which I've done and suspect any other customer would do too. The red and black bananas determine which speaker and amp. terminals to use anyway. In fact the continuity is therefore sorted by your good self!"those of us who have a mass of cables at the back of our amps". Likewise.

Hi John,
Any news on availability of single core cable for speaker rewires? I should like to prepare my speakers for eventually using Proprius mounted on the back, meanwhile using my existing mono blocks close coupled in a similar way. |

Hi Ian,
We already have this cable. Send me a PM or better still send me an email. Just substitute 'john' for 'gsp.ltd' (anti-spam) in our email address and let me know how much you need. I'll get back to you with a price a.s.a.p. John C
