Going through my closet I found my old turntable, a Sony PS-T22C. I remember buying it in either 1980 or 1981 and the last setup was with a Grado cartridge. It has not been used since the early 90's when I gave away my album collection. Embarrassed

Anyways, when this turntable was "retired" the mechanism to raise the arm has lost its damping and who knows what else has been damaged over the last 15+ years of storage in the closet. Any one her has any experience with this turntable? I am not able to go back to vinyl due to lack of space (live in an small apartment), but I am wondering if it is worth keeping in case in the future I can set it up or should I just send it to the trash bin. Thanks.
Miguel

Miguel,

Get your camera out and take lots of photos so I can see if it's worth preserving.

And what do you mean you don't have room? Park some of the Beetles in the yard instead of inside your appartment...Wink
That none should be able to park up and enjoy the view without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps
