Yes it is rather wonderful to actually be able to speak to the designer himself, I agree Big smile.

I recommend watching the film Logan's Run (1976) "Welcome to the 23rd century: The perfect World of Total Pleasure".... it only had one drawback - life must end at 30 years old.

The majority accepted death but a minority decided to escape, which was very difficult because the Sandmen went after escapees  to kill them.

The star of the film Michael York cast as "Logan5" (Oh, isn't it very much like the email addresses of today....) is a Sandman who realises his time is up. So he decides to run (escape).

After lots of adventures he emerges into the outside world - a place they've all been told does not exist.

He finds this old man who has existed outside the system - a very moving experience.

Logan goes back into the "pleasure world" and does his level best to get everybody to escape with him, telling them life is better outside. Many resist, but a few decide to go along with him. To cut a very long story short, they escape with Logan and meet the old man - the tear jerking end!

Well, I'm not as old as the old man in the film, and neither am I like Logan, BUT I'm pleased to see a minority are escaping the crap they've been fed. Wink

Ah, yes! Logan's Run! You forgot to mention Jenny Agutter . . . She'd grown up a bit from the Railway Children by then Wink Embarrassed .

As the Designer/Creator, are we your "disciples", the lost tribe, "Sleeites" in fact . . . LOL
