If Graham set this up, is there anyone else who'd go to a roadshow near Leeds?

I agree that there should be the opportunity to assess support for a roadshow in the north of England. please start a new thread.

It is approximately 2h 20min by road from Carlisle to Leeds (google map). From my location (South of Scotland) it would be a 3h trip. I'm not sure how many a Leeds venue would attract from Scotland but count me in.

In an ideal world, you could search the members' database for location and target your road shows where most members lived, say within 50 or 100 miles.

However,after a quick look at members' locations and realised that very few provide that data. However, the possibility of a 'local' roadshow might persuade more members to provide it. Alternatively, assuming the more active members already provide this data, the location(s) could be selected on this basis. They are the members more likely to attend and perhaps persuade others.

Just some thoughts.

Harrogate, Bolton or Barnsley??

Good points. Without going through the memberships (and knowing the location data is incomplete) I knew we had a fair number from the North of England and Scotland.

Graham's poll seems the way forward.
