Hi All!
It struck me yesterday just how much I've been enjoying music in the last few months and that my system must be well sorted and completely burnt in. Seriously, I feel like anything that touches the Majestic DAC turns to music. Laptop, turntable, CD, DVD, TV all sound fantastic. With this in mind, I wonder if others have the same sense of being completely settled and burnt in? The sound is super consistent from all inputs, digital and analogue, day to day. There aren't any good days in bad days, for the first time in my hifi hobby life! Looking forward to hearing what others are experiencing. Cheers, Mick. |

Pretty much the same here Mick. The Majestic is mainly fed digits from a CD transport & is
consistently musically satisfying. As all here will know, the advice to leave kit permanently powered up is good. Returning from holiday recently the sound took a day or two to be back to its best after being powered off. This did seem more noticeable with the phono stages. |

No complaints at all from me! The Majestic is a fantastic piece of kit which when combined with other GSP products, and a good pair of speakers, makes it one of the best sounding hi-fi's that I have ever heard. You can spend an absolute fortune on hi-fi gear and still not get anything much better than this! My music is supplied by a Squeezebox Touch from my Apple computer and everything else apart from the speakers are designed and supplied by Graham. Having the whole system from one supplier of Graham's calibre makes a a big difference. Every time I added a new piece (including cables) my system improved. Each item is designed with the other items in mind – and it really works!

Not sure I can add anything to the praise already given to the, ahem, majestic Majestic. Best DAC I've heard and does a very good job as a preamp. Phil's point about the synergy between the GSP components is right, I also use a Squeezebox Touch and changing the digital coax to a Lautus cable improved the sound IMO. I have an A***lab 82xxCD and don't use its DAC anymore, instead I feed its digital out into the Majestic.
