Bak, just catching up on subjects in the forum, being new and all, and I built a pair of TL stand mounts, must be back in the late 90's. I followed the plans as published in HI Fi World, (that magazine used to have a DIY pull out every month).
From memory the speakers weren't as big as your project 2 a lot smaller, aimed at near field listening, but all the same they sounded really good, my class A "Made in Yorkshire" amp drove them, without too much trouble. Unfortunately I can't help with a copy of the supplement mine disappeared along with other magazines some time ago, but you never know someone may have a copy, I'm sure you'd find it interesting. Trying to recall the designer, Dominic was his first name, think he designs for Focal now. Looking forward to the next instalment on your projects. Regards Charles.

Cool discussion going on here. I just built the best TL I've ever heard for a customer. One of Troels Gravesen designs, the Jensen Illuminator.
Pretty huge, but work well in the space they were built for. Well worth looking at some of his designs before you make a start. http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/Jenzen-Illuminator.htm

That'll be Dominic Baker. He worked for Tannoy before JM Lab Focal lured him across The Channel. |

Made quite a few of his speakers along the way. They are all very well thought out designs. Considering up until this year he was in fill time employment he's pretty prolific!
