rs1 out of my price range. have you tried rs2 or sr325i with a solo?
a lot say comfort is an issue too!
if i could import the ad2000, at a sensible price, i think i would go for them.

No but the RS-2 should sound fine, it is with some music even better than the RS-1. Comfort is an issue for some, mostly because they are not aware that under the leather headband there is an steel band. Thus it can be bent to shape it as needed. Secondly the ear pads can be a bit abrasive, this can be improved significantly by washing the ear pads with a mild liquid soap in lukewarm water. Followed by air drying. Good luck.

bought a pair of ath-ad2000's from a head-fier , in US.
just awaiting delivery now!
also Graham hopes to ship my solo in a couple of days time.

got the new solo and At's burning in now! cans have approx 150 hrs on them by previous owner. going away for a few days but will leave solo powered up.
