I have noticed a couple of phono preamps for MC talking of using current rather than voltage amplification - I think the PE (Phono Enhancer) mode of the Dynavector stages is one example.

I wondered if Graham would like to offer any thoughts on this approach and its advantages or disadvantages or even if it is "pixie dust".
