Sad news.
One of my favourite record shops is closing down at the end of next month.
Drift Records in Totnes. Got the email on Wednesday telling me. The reason given was a bit vague, but it does sound it's not for financial reasons.
Been buying from that shop for quite a few years and it was always a welcoming place to visit.
Reflex M, Solo (both with PSU-1) CuSat50, Lautus, Spatia & Spatia links cables. Ortofon Bronze.

My sympathies Jon. It looks like my favourite guitar shop has just closed.

That's too bad. My old favorite store closed years ago. 

A lot of the shops that were influential in my area closed down and the newer shops and ones left standing aren't quite the same. 

Hopefully you find another shop you like to visit regularly. 
SL-1200 MK7 (modified) + Reflex M + PSU-1 used with AT150-40ML, AT VM610 MONO, AT VM95ML, Stanton 680mkII + Ogura, and Shure M35X cartridges.

It does seem all good things do come to a end eventually.
I do have lots of 2nd-hand records shops near me but only the likes of HMV for new music. There are other shops but were talking more than an hour travelling time away.
Drift Records enlighten me to a lot of new bands and artists over the year's. They seemed to have the type of music I liked.
