Come to think of it, I've had mine a little over a year now of constant well use. I thought once, I made the Solo stumble, but came to find out it was the limitationt of the recording.

There is no limit, that I have found, for the Solo. It has devoured any sort of music i throw at it.

I feel like an idiot!

In the past days, from one of the two inputs of the Solo (the one connected to the Denon CD/SACD/DVD player) I was getting some slight low frequency hum if I turned the volume pot to very high positions (beyond 14 o' clock... which is way beyond my ordinary listening volume).

I was thinking that maybe there was some minor ground loop between the player and the Solo.... WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! (By the way, Depeche Mode's excellent new single is called "Wrong" and is out on Monday!)

Guess what? My RCA cables from the player were passing on the floor a bit too close to my antenna cable and to the PSU1... and they were coiled for space/order reasons, too. I distanced the RCA cables a bit from the antenna cable and the PSU1... and the hum COMPLETELY disappeared. Now even with the volume knob at maximum volume (without music of course) I get absolutely NO hum.

Yeah! (And I should have thought about that before... since I am an engineer!!!!)
