Saddened to see that Peter Green has left us.
Another that will be fondly remembered with the music he treated us to. Ian

Sad news indeed. I became a fan of blues in the UK towards the end of the '60s and John Mayall's band with Eric Clapton/Peter Green was a pivotal part of that. I saw him on a TV programme a few years ago, lots of talking heads reminiscing; it seemed that time had not been kind to him.

Better than Clapton IMHO. Fleetwood Mac would not exist without him. Sad life but now RIP.

I had the pleasure of seeing him live four times. Twice in the late '60s before Fleetwood Mac went pop then more recently in the last few years.
At Truro's Hall for Cornwall, we were front row centre and it was absolutely magical to hear him play and be just a few feet away from him. The last time we saw him was at Falmouth where he was helped onto the stage and sat on a stool for the performance. Even though his health was obviously not good,he still had that magic touch!
