I think Bob/Morris Minor has a big collection of cartridges including several LOMCs. Maybe he can suggest something?

Have a look at the Goldring Elite or the Hana ML. Both highly spoken of.

Hana ML works well in Audiomods.
Another to consider is the Audio Signature MCX1 - big, heavy cart with full weighty sound. Elliptical stylus. I think I read that they are based on the Ortofon Quintets with a lot of modifications. The AT-OC9 series you mention are serious contenders. |
