I did it... i have ordered the Majestic (after i could test it thru the loaners programm).
I also bought vie week ago an N**m Nait 5 Si. I will keep it, and i want the use the Din-Connectors (Yes i am a German 70's Child who grew up with Din..so i know its better than RCA)
Theroetically it should be possible to use the symetric TSR Connectors of the Majestic combined with an Din Connector on the other End and use the symetric connection.

Is it possible to get an GS Slee Cable with  an TSR to Din?

Or can someone recommend a good Cable.

Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,
I hope you'll enjoy the Majestic as much as I do. I would agree that DIN connectors are superior to RCA phono jacks, however RCAs have become pretty well universal since the 70s, so we have to live with them. The TRS jacks on the Majestic give a (variable level controlled by the Vol control) balanced signal. I'm not sure the Nait has balanced inputs, even on the DIN inputs. They appear to only have Ch1, Ch2 and ground connections, i.e. left and right + ground. In which case the fixed Analogue output from the Majestic would be more appropriate, as Volume can be controlled by the Nait. This would allow use of "Normal" RCA phono interconnects.
If you really want the Majestic variable volume output the TRS interconnects can be configured for single ended use and terminated with either RCA or DIN connectors, as you wish.
Jon Cadman can advise the best solution and should be able to make interconnects for you. Either give him a call, or drop him a Private Message via the forum.
Happy Listening,
Ian

Hello Ian,
thank you for saving me from a Mistake. In an Hifimagazine someone wrote its balanced..so i asumed its right. But really there are different statements in the Net... i think i have to ask directly N**m Focal to be secure befor i ask Jon Cadman. I woul like to use the din connectors only becuase they are there Wink.

Thanks a lot,
Michael

Glad to be of help Michael.
I don't think the sound quality of the balanced output from the Majestic is "better" than the single ended via RCA phonos. It just has advantages of better transmission over extra long interconnects or when the amplifier/s only have balanced (XLR) inputs.
In accordance with keep it simple principles, I would just use RCA/RCA interconnects and take advantage of the remote Volume control of the Nait.
