Hi, I'm Eric from Sweden and after hanging around for a while I have a first question.
I'm planning to buy a new phono amp and as it looks today it will be one from GS. But what about the taxes? As far as I understand 20% VAT is included in the prices. And as UK still is a part of the EU I will only pay taxes in the "selling" country, but in the shopping cart an extra tax is added. Why? |

Hi Eric, good question, and you don't pay double tax.
Here's what you may have seen? Subtotal £936.00 Shipping £14.40 Tax £158.40 Total £950.40 If you do the math you will see the item "Tax" has not been added. £936.00 (subtotal tax inclusive price) plus £14.40 (shipping) = £950.40 (the total) We have to show how much of the price is tax, so the line "Tax" is just to indicate. The cart does not add it again. Therefore you only pay tax once. |

Welcome to the forum Eric and don't forget that you can use the European Loaner Scheme if you would like to try out any of Graham's products in your own system before buying. I'll be happy to help

Thanks for your quick and clear answer Graham.
I'm just an engineer so what do I know about math. Suggs, for sure I will use the European Loaner Scheme. I'm looking forward to that, but I will come back to you after my five week summer holiday. Where in Europe are you living? |

Yes, all products are available and a goodly selection of interconnects and speaker cables. Just let me know what you are interested in when you are ready and we can go from there
