Heres my little story of how i ended up with the green solo amp.

After hearing a friends music fidelity x-can, i decided i was going to look in to buying some sort of headphone amp with the main intention of powering it from my ipod classic. Obviously i was looking for something portable to start with. After joining a few forums and reading lots of write ups on headphone amps both portable and home set ups, i wanted to hear something. The main thing with forums is that you hear how people go on and on about how great a product sounds but i being doubtful of everything, wanted to hear one my self. After looking through lot's of manufacturers i noticed that Graham lives about ten minutes away from me, so i cheekily rang and asked if i could pop round to hear some of his gear. At the time i think the voyager had just been launched or was about to. Graham and John kindly let me go round and listen to the voyager and the new green solo.

Originally i went to listen to the voyager to see how it worked of my ipod. Well to cut a long story short, it sounded great. It dramatically improved my ipod. I used lossless files to listen with and tried various music styles. I really wanted one until i heard the green solo. Graham set up the solo and ran it of his record player. I can honestly say i was really amazed with how it sounded. Let me just say, i do not believe in blowing smoke up ones arse, so when Graham asked me what i thought i told the truth combined with a big grin on my face, it sounds great.

I placed an order for the green solo and then waited with excitement for a week whilst it was made.

Whilst listening to the amps i was chatting to Graham and John about their business and how it started and so on....
Both John and Graham were helpful and very interesting to talk to. I am now a proud owner of a green solo and i can't fault it. Both the voyager and solo sounded superb, i just couldn't afford both at the time. I don't think buyers would be disappointed with either of them!

If you don't believe me, try them out and hear them for yourself.

cheers!
