solo intro vs mc??

high guys

new on here and looking to buy a solo!
can someone tell me if the psu is the only difference between the two models?
i read somewhere (cant remember where!) that the mc version also had up-rated components!

No. The only difference is in the power supply section.  Intro comes with a Chinese-made simple power supply, while the MC comes with a UK-made power supply, with stronger build and higher quality.  And power does make a sonic difference.

Don't forget, you can always buy the Intro version then upgrade to the PSU1 version when funds allow.  The T24-48 wall wart that comes with the Intro is fine, until you hear what the Solo can do with the PSU1 - don't listen till you can afford one!  Expect a cleaner, clearer sound, bigger/better soundstage, "real" vocals, tighter bass etc.
