Hi, I have a question on the use of rechargeable 8.4 V batteries. I'm a heavy user and always on the go so batteries don't last long for me. Can i use 8.4 V batteries or would this compromise sound quality ? Thanks.

8.4V will be OK. The Voyager is designed to be quite tolerant of battery voltage. Please let us know the battery life you're getting using these and tell us the make and type - it will be helpful to others I'm sure.

That none should be able to park up and enjoy the view without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

OK, if you say so. I just ordered Energizer 8.4 V 175 mah NiMh batteries. I'll let you know on battery life. I'll always have a spare charged one with me so that shouldn't be a big problem. I've ordered the Voyager but haven't received it yet. Is the battery change operation easy or do you have to use screwdrivers to access the battery ? |

It's a slide off battery cover requiring no tools, but it's a tight fit requiring both thumbs to press down on it while it's slid off. The reason being the thick neoprene sponge below the battery designed to stop it rattling about, not just for the first few weeks like other foam linings, but hopefully for life.
