I've just heard the tragic news of the loss of a another great musician.
One of my all time favourites from the late 60s London college circuit, his mastery of the Hammond organ was a sight to behold and a wonder to hear.
His Music will live on, He will be missed.
Just listen, if it sounds good to you, enjoy it.

2016 will be remembered for all the wrong reasons as yet another one passes away.

Sad to hear.Ouch ELP ... one of my all time favorite bands. Emerson could play a moog with one hand and the organ or piano with the other! I got to see ELP in 1974 at the Yale Bowl in Connecticut. Including the concert, that was a day of 16 non-stop hours of ELP!
 I need a "Brain Salad Surgery".Confused
Hey Drewan77 your "man cave" comes to mind?Wink

More sad news. One of the first, and best, concerts I went to was at the Oval cricket ground. Me and my mate Micky bunked off school to go and buy tickets ...  any excuse Wink. Details are hazy, but I remember ELP had 2 fire breathing Tarkus tank things either side of the stage and before their set he spent ages trying to get his Moog in tune - I guess the weather affected it. A pretty amazing line up - apart from those on the poster Argent also played and Jack Bruce did a set with a pick up band... and all for a quid!!!!

and look how many branches that record store alone had in London... those were the days!
