I still bet a fully "burnt in" Majestic-Proprius-K1000 system with Lautus interconnects would hold its own in comparison.

I agree. Won't stereo image like speakers or like a live performance. Microdetails may have more emphasis than anything else, more so than they would to the human ear during a live performance.

The very same company have already done exactly that. 
They just choose not to manufacture them any more.....
